APOSTILLE SERVICES

Apostille services start at $125 for documents that will be used internationally. We accept documents from all 50 states, and those needing federal and consular services. We will handle processing of documents that need to go to the GSCCCA or the Secretary of State's Office to be apostilled.

Federal Apostilles

GENERAL TERMS

We are commissioned in the State of Georgia and perform all notarial acts in accordance with Georgia law, industry standards, and the written instructions of the receiving party when provided. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. All signers must appear in person, be willing, aware, and able to understand the document being signed. We reserve the right to refuse service if a signer appears confused, coerced, intoxicated, or otherwise unable to meet legal requirements.

Names on IDs for all signers must reasonably match the names on the document. Customers are responsible for providing correct documents and any written instructions required by the receiving party.

IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Acceptable identification includes a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID such as a driver license, state ID, or passport. Additional identification may be required depending on the document or receiving party.

WITNESS REQUIREMENTS

Some documents require one or more witnesses. Witnesses may be provided when requested at a fee of $30 per witness, subject to availability. Customers may bring their own witnesses. It is required that witnesses must be disinterested, not named in the document, and must not gain any interest from the transaction. The receiving party may have additional rules which the customer is responsible for confirming in advance.

MOBILE APPOINTMENTS

Travel fees are quoted at booking. Additional fees may apply for after-hours, long distance, wait time, or special requests. Appointments include a 15-minute grace period. Additional wait time may be billed in 15-minute increments. If we arrive and the appointment cannot proceed due to missing documents, missing signers, invalid ID, or customer cancellation, the travel fee is non-refundable.

APOSTILLE SUPPORT SERVICES

We provide apostille facilitation/support services, including document review, submission to the Clerk of Superior Court, Georgia Secretary of State, U.S. Department of State, or other required authorities. For non-Hague countries, additional legalization steps may be required, including embassy or consulate processing. Additional fees may apply.

Service Role
Notary Reliance acts as a facilitator/support service provider. We do not control government agencies, embassies, consulates, or receiving organizations.

Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for confirming document requirements with the receiving party. We may assist when possible, but final acceptance is always determined by the receiving agency or organization.

Timing:

All processing times are estimates only. Government processing times, closures, mail delays, and embassy requirements can impact processing times and may change without notice.

Pricing: Priority Packages start at $225 for a 3 to 5 business day delivery, includes travel, one document, and one notarization. Each additional document is $75 unless otherwise quoted. Expedited options are available.

PRICES, PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Quotes: Quotes are based on information provided at booking. Changes in scope, number of documents, travel distance, or receiving party requirements may change the price.

Payment: Payment is due at booking or at the appointment unless otherwise agreed. Major cards and approved digital payments are accepted.

Notary services: Notary fees and travel fees are non-refundable once the notary service has been attempted or completed.

Apostille Services: If canceled before submission, service fees may be refunded minus costs incurred. After submission to any government office, all service fees are non-refundable. Government fees, courier fees, and shipping fees are not refundable.

Chargebacks: Customers agree to contact Notary Reliance first to resolve any issue. Chargebacks on valid services may be subject to collection for the unpaid balance plus bank dispute fees.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Notary Reliance is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once documents are accepted by a carrier. Carrier insurance is optional and available for an additional fee upon request. Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping addresses and instructions..We can utilize trackable courier or postal service.

DOCUMENT ACCEPTANCE

We may review documents for completeness, but final acceptance is always determined by the receiving agency or organization.

We will correct any notarial error at no charge if the rejection is due to our mistake. We are not responsible for rejection due to incorrect documents, missing requirements, or instructions from the receiving party.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

Appointments may be rescheduled once with at least 12 hours notice. Less than 12 hours may result in a reschedule fee. If we must reschedule due to weather, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer the next available appointment or refer a trusted partner. We will use our best discretion if there is inclement weather or other unforeseen emergencies and will reschedule or coordinate the earliest alternative time/date.

PRIVACY

We only collect the information necessary to perform notarial and related services. Information may be shared only with service partners required to complete the request, such as shipping carriers, apostille authorities, or payment processors.We only collect the information needed to perform notarial acts and related tasks.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse service for:

Invalid identification

Missing or incomplete documents

Suspected fraud

Unsafe conditions

Unprofessional or abusive behavior

Any situation that violates law or professional standards

ACCESSIBILITY AND LANGUAGE

Signers must understand the document being signed. If an interpreter is required, the customer must provide one. We must still be able to communicate directly with the signer as required by law.
